The digestion process is accelerated by diluting the digested product with hot water. From the Horizontal Rapid Digester, the digested product (including the nut) is transferred to the hopper of the Multi-Purpose Hydraulic Press.

The Horizontal Rapid Digester strips the Palm Fruit Mesocarp from the Palm Fruit Nut, disintegrates the mesocarp in order to release the individual oil cells and ruptures the individual oil cells to release the Palm Oil from within. (This is a very slow and physical process within the traditional rural technique).
